Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Reveals Creditless OP and ED for Debut

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premiered as an ENHANCED edition, featuring a large volume of newly added and redrawn cuts and a reconstructed narrative. The series uses cutting-edge visual expression to deliver even more immersive battle scenes and a more faithful representation of the original manga. Alongside the premiere, opening and ending videos have been revealed, set to the opening theme “ONOGAMI” by MEGATERA・ZERO and the ending theme “Kan Peki No Peki” by VK Blanka. The synopsis and scene stills for Episode 1, “The God Who Destroys,” have also been released.

Opening with MEGATERA・ZERO’s powerful vocals, the opening video traces Goku from his childhood through the many fierce battles that made him grow. Beerus, the God of Destruction, appears next. Goku transforms from Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan God and then Super Saiyan Blue, charting the evolution of his strength. Set to impassioned vocals and a driving, high-speed sound, the dynamic opening shows Goku made even stronger by the battles behind him. It also foreshadows fierce clashes with Beerus and the other formidable foes that await Goku and his allies.

The ending video is set to VK Blanka’s “Kan Peki No Peki,” and a dreamlike scene unfolds as a radiant Shenron rises into view. Toward the end, in time with the light rhythm and crystal-clear vocals, scenes hinting at the story to come appear one after another on the body of the gracefully soaring Shenron. With Shenron’s dreamlike glow and the song in harmony, the ending lets the story linger long after the credits roll. Brought to life through cutting-edge visual expression, the ENHANCED edition delivers more refined, powered-up visuals. Fans won’t want to miss the opening, which depicts Goku’s ever-growing strength and his fierce battle with Beerus, or the ending, where Shenron colors the story’s lingering afterglow.

Episode 1: “The God Who Destroys”

Years after the battle with Earth’s greatest enemy, Majin Buu, the planet’s savior Son Goku spends his days in peace. Meanwhile, on a distant planet, the God of Destruction Beerus awakens from his long slumber!
