In honor of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 celebrating its 10th anniversary, a special update is in the pipeline. This will be going live on October 27, 2026.
The update is led by the Final Festival of Universes, which will be held beginning on October 30. During the event, hard-to-find items will return, along with some special items that can unlock rewards for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
Here’s some additional information regarding what’s planned:
During the Final Festival of Universes, you will be able to raise your camaraderie level with characters who have accompanied you on your journey, choosing between Trunks, The Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu. Doing so will unlock special illustrations. In addition, hard-to-obtain items will be coming back, and you will be able to earn 25 times more Star Coins than usual, making it easier than ever to exchange them for rewards.
Taking part in the Final Festival can also grant you a new Gi, specially created for the occasion, as well as a commemorative medal. Possessing either of the items will allow you to unlock special items, depending on the item you own, in Dragon Ball Xenovers 3 by linking your Bandai Namco ID, once the game becomes available in 2027. A free update, available on 27 October, will bring new Login Bonus Rewards, Special Costumes and an update to the Gallery of Time which can be unlocked by purchasing the DLC “Future Saga Chapter 4”.
