Edia has announced more information on the upcoming release of Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes I & II. The new edition will be released worldwide in 2027, and it’ll be possible to play it on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
According to Gematsu, the new info was revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2026 as part of a physical Edia Game Catalog distributed at the event. It’s currently unclear whether the worldwide release will mean the pack will feature English localization or not. Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes II has never been officially released in English.
Originally conceived as turn-based entries in Nihon Falcom’s action RPG franchise, Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes I & II brings the PC Engine versions of both games to current hardware. Compared to the original PC-88 releases, those versions added voice acting to select scenes for the main characters.
The pack is one of Edia’s participating titles at TGS 2026 along with Toshinden Collection, Super Yanoman Collection, and Psikyo Memories. The event is currently running at Makuhari Messe from September 17 through September 21, and Edia’s both is in Hall 2, booth 02-N01.
More details on Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes I & II should be revealed in the future as Edia works on the project and the release gets closer.
